NEW YORK, NY Feb. 5 (DPI) – The so-called 20th hijacker in the September 11 attacks claims members of the Saudi Royal Family  were “major donors to the Al Qaida terrorist network in the late 1990s”, and a large number of readers said they aren’t surprised.

Zacarias Moussaoui, convicted in the 9/11 conspiracy and now spending the rest of his life in a supermax prison in Colorado, said he “wanted” to testify for lawyers bringing civil suits again the Saudi Royal Family for the survivors of 9/11 victims. The in-prison deposition took place last October and was reported this week by The New York Times.

Of the 500-plus posted reader comments, the most recommended reflected a widely held view that the Saudi Royal Family, or individual members of it, played some role in supporting the 9/11 attacks or Al Qaeda generally. The five highest recommended comments:

Every American deserves to know what is in the 28 redacted pages of the 9/11 commission report. According to Congresspeople who have read it, they deal with Saudi Arabia.

And of course the Bush family, hand in glove for generations with the House of Saud, was completely unaware of any of this.
